The Payments configuration page allows you to enable payment methods, set up global tax, manage discounts, upload QR codes for offline digital payments, and configure invoice & receipt preferences.
Customers will only see payment options on your booking page after you enable them here.
Payment Methods
You will see four payment options, each shown as a card:
Cash
PayPal
Stripe
Razorpay
Each card has a toggle switch.
How to Enable a Payment Method
Click the toggle switch to enable the payment method
Enter the required details (like keys, IDs, secret tokens)
Save the page to activate it
Important Notes
Your keys and payment data are completely secure
Without enabling any method, customers cannot pay online
Enable at least one method if you want to receive online payments
QR Code Payment Option
Below the payment cards, you will find a QR Code Upload section.
What this does:
Allows you to upload your custom QR code image
This QR is shown on the customer’s order page
Customers can scan and pay you manually using their preferred wallet/app
This is useful for businesses that prefer QR-based in-shop payments.
Tax & Invoice Details
This section lets you set up global tax rules, invoice settings, and receipt preferences.
A. Global Tax Settings
To activate tax, turn on the Enable Tax on Payments toggle.
Once activated, you can enter:
1. Tax Label
Examples:
GST
VAT
Service Tax
2. Tax Percentage
Enter the percentage (%) you want to apply.
3. Show Tax On
You can choose one:
Total Amount → tax calculated on final amount
Individual Service Amount → tax calculated per service
Choose according to your business requirement.
B. Discount Settings
Toggle Enable Discount on Payments to activate discount rules.
You can set:
Minimum Cart Value
Discount applies only if the cart reaches this amount.
Discount Type
Two options:
Percentage (%) — e.g., 10% off
Flat Amount — e.g., $50 off
This helps you run promotions or special offers.
C. Invoice & Billing Preference
Toggle Auto-generate Invoice for every booking to turn this on.
Then fill:
Invoice Prefix
Example: RB-2025-Invoice Number Starts From
Example: 1001
Every booking will automatically generate an invoice using your prefix and numbering sequence.
D. Receipt Preference
Toggle Download receipt after every payment to activate.
Then fill:
Receipt Prefix
Example: REC-2025-Receipt Number Starts From
Example: 1001
A receipt will automatically be created for each payment.
Important Rules
Online payment preferences like Full / Partial require online payment methods to be enabled
If you are using Partial Payment, make sure at least one online payment method is enabled (offline is not allowed for partial payment)
QR code payment works only on the order page, not during normal checkout
Tax and discount apply only if the toggles are enabled
Tips & Best Practices
Always double-check your API keys when connecting PayPal, Stripe, or Razorpay
If you want online payments, enable at least one payment method
Use tax settings only if your business legally requires it
Set up invoice numbering properly to maintain clean billing records
Upload a high-quality QR code for easy scanning
Turn on receipt downloads if customers frequently ask for payment proof
Common Questions (FAQ)
Q. Are my API keys safe?
Yes, all payment keys are stored securely.
Q. Why are payment options not showing for customers?
Because none of the payment methods are enabled yet.
Q. Can I enable multiple payment methods?
Yes, customers can choose any method you activate.
Q. Does the QR code replace online payment?
No. It is for optional manual payments on the order page.
Q. Is tax required?
Only if your business needs to charge tax. Otherwise, you can keep it disabled.
Q. How do I update the invoice prefix later?
Just edit the prefix and save — future invoices will use the new one.
Q. Will partial payment work without online payments?
No. Partial payment requires online payment options to be enabled.
